In this year, looking back on 6 previous months with effervescent and hardship, ICD has achieved the given goals. Comparing with plan of half years, our turnover gets 50,96%, increase 112,84% in comparison with the same of period last year. Among of this figure, sales of Logistics item gets 54,52% compared with plan and 136,32% in comparison with the same of period last year.
The capacity of cargo pass though of warehouses gets 523,187 tons, reached 27,77% compared with yearly plan and pass though container yard gets 16,423 tons, reached 37,81 tons; the trucking capacity gets 12,877 teus, reached 61,88% in comparison with yearly plan.
Six last months, we have built and utilized 2 new warehouses: The warehouse no.7 18000 sqm and the warehouse no.1A - this is joint-venture project of ICD and Sonadezi Cooperation – 15,300 sqm. These warehouses are fully at this moment.
ICD are also diversifying more other services such as sorting, labeling, managing and im-exporting based on PO number, delivering and receiving the goods integrally from factory to warehouse and deliver to distribution store, and becoming a Customs agent point….beyond existing services: leasing warehouse and offices, loading/unloading, trucking, doing Customs formalities/ Customs clearance for im-export….; Especially, we take full advantage of large Bonded Container yard area to collect and store the cargo and export to Euro, United State…
Now, we are building continuously some warehouses in order to serve for further demand of customers. One of them is the warehouse 31,500 sqm – this is the first warehouse in Vietnam which providing the professional and comprehensive solution for Logistics services, providing storage space and financial services for commercial cargo of importing and exporting - combined by ICD and OCB (Oriental Commercial bank) will be completed in the beginning of September. And nearest in beginning of this August, the warehouse number 11 – 15,300 sqm shall be finished and utilized. In addition, we are planning to build two warehouses (number 12,13 and 14) will be finished in the end of this year, particularly the warehouse number 14 will be invested by advance payment of our customer.
Besides of above advantages, ICD also face many difficulties and challenges that we have to complete and improve the capacity and quality of service day by day to meet better the higher needs of our customers to become The biggest ICD of Southeast Asia as well as our target.
